Wedding Trends - What's In and Out for 2023

Wondering which wedding trends are sticking around for 2023? We made a list of trends that we think you should consider incorporating into your wedding this year and some to avoid.

In

Colorful florals - Gone are the days of the green and white palette, color is having a moment.

Disco balls - Nothing says party like dancing the night away under a giant disco ball. Many of our couples this year will be taking part in this trend and we are here for it.

Statement aisles - Adding flowers down the aisle is so beautiful. It feels like you are walking in a meadow. Plus, we love repurposing the florals in front of your DJ’s or band’s stage to add a splash of color on the dance floor.

Wedding weekends - After a few years of having few celebrations, it’s not enough to only have one day with your favorite people. We love planning weekend weddings for our clients to add many days of special moments and celebrations.

Grazing tables - Who says all the beauty has to be for decor? We love working with caterers to create beautiful displays of cheese, charcuterie and other nosh.

Out

Greenery alone - We love greenery, but alone it can fall flat. Instead opt for adding some simple bud vases to your greenery tablescape to make it feel fresh.

Perfectly matching bridesmaid dresses - We prefer to mix styles of the same color or a mix of patterns in the same color family.

Corsages - This might be controversial, but we find corsages to be dated. It’s also hard to keep them fresh without using floral foam (which is horrible for the environment). Instead, opt for a mini bouquet to highlight your parents and grandparents in your wedding party.

Favors - Save your budget for a late night bite or a more elaborate dessert spread.
